Research - IPC ML Forecasting

Texas A&M University, College Station, TX
  • Designed and tested various Machine Learning Architectures for regression to forecast key architectural performance metrics such as Instructions Per Cycle and Power utilization to accelerate Microarchitecture Design and facilitate Design Space Exploration
  • Eliminated simulation times from traditional methods taking from days to months, while maintaining less than 3% mean error on highly volatile metrics

Hall Effect Sensor Brushless DC Motor Design

Developed a single-phase, four coil, two wire, brushless DC motor with one pole-pair and two hall effect sensors. Designed Power Electronics and digital controls to operate this motor.

AutoCAD Multisim Solidworks Vivado

Hardware Design

Single Cycle Processor - ARM ISA

Architected a capable Single Cycle Processor with an accompanying testbench. Modeled different parts of a processor including the ALU, Memory, and Controls.

C Verilog Assembly

Hardware Accelerator for CNN

Designed a Domain Specific Architecture based on systolic arrays to accelerate training of Convolutional Neural Networks.

Machine Learning

Neural Network for Image & Audio Classification

Developed a multi-modal neural network from scratch to categorize images and spoken recordings of digits with over 99% accuracy.
